Great stuff, really helpful. The room was really clean and the hostel is well located. Just the breakfast wasn't that good: cereal, bread/toast, juices (2 types) and yogurt. In the end, I recommend it very much!!

The breakfast is 6 in 10.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is relatively new and offered a great view of the city. Very clean with new bathroom fixures. I really enjoyed my stay in Liverpool and would visit again.

The breakfast was bit small, but I would stay at this hotel again. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very good location, breakfast adequate to room price (cornflakes, milk, toasted white bread, jam, juice, coffee, yogurt), clean room, comfortable bed, soap in bathroom (didn't expect).

I had a bad impression of the hotel for the following reasons: It seems more a hotel nightclub on weekends. I was in a room of 8 beds and what was my surprise when at about 04.00AM came several boys and more girls (they were in another room), and spent 8 to 12. They drank alcohol in the room, went 3 for a bed and talked and laughed loudly. This lasted until the 04.00A.M until 07.00A.M. Please note that only me and slept a girl so far. Total lack respect. I complained in the morning but it's as if nothing had happened. From what I understand is common on weekends. If I knew this course would not have marked on it. People should be warned. Another strange thing, nobody in the lobby shows the card, which it appears that people who are not entering the hotel. In fact you can hear at night hysteria, running, screaming in the aisles and great alcohol. I travel a lot, I'm in huge hotels (even I was in Manchester Hatters and wonders just have to say). I accept and agree that people can and should have fun and hostels have this aspect, but there is a total lack of respect for people who are sleeping in the Hostel Staff should intervene. Problems can exist in all the hotels, it should then be solved. I believe that a week does not happen these problems. In fact I scored there because I had friends who were already there (but the week) and they told me well, because taking the festivities at the hotel the weekend of the rest have nothing to point to.

    Superb

The rooms were lovely for a hotel, nevermind a hostel. The bed was very comfortable and the location was excellent for walking in to town. The staff were friendly and helpful, and as is typical of a hostel, knew a great deal more about the best things to do/see in the city. Hatters is the comfort of a hotel combined with the service of a hostel.

Not a major complaint, but not being able to get our room when we arrived. The staff were friendly and stored our bags, but it's nice to settle in upon arriving.

    Superb

I thought the staff were really friendly throughout our stay at Hatters.A great place to stay, we would definitely return - very clean, tidy...the layout reminded me of my student halls!

maybe a little noisy on one night...but I guess this can happen anywhere...

    Very good

The Hatters has quite a lot of rooms where you can spend your evening, play pool billiard or Wii and meet other guests.

The room was a bit spartan. There was only a small camping table, but no chairs and no table lamps.

1St time I have stayed in a hostel but I only made my mind up going 2 liverpool 5 days b4 so hatters was the cheapest for 9 of us. the room for 3 people was like a normal hotel 2 bunks 1 dub bed/tv. the other was a dorm we had 4 girls and 1 guy with us but that was no prob as we got back at 5am so there were a sleep. for the price and loction it was a good hostel :)

Everthing was fine but I did need the hotel for 9 people but booket for 6 and then had to book derict from hatters as Booked.net say there were no rooms left :) good hostel we payed £22 each

    Very good

Its really really in good location, staff was perfect. Also people which gathers there are ok. One more thing - nice coffee mashine compensated lack of food for breakfast.. :)

Generally it was real budget place - pesticides smell inside, tv was not showing etc etc. On other hand, its a hotel more for oversleeping, not for leisure :)

Not much, was a rip off

Was happy to stay at a budget venue, less frippery always good - not sure why you / they thought that would ever justify the hike in rates for conferen\ce - the front desk staff were ceratinly embarrased about having to justify it. and even a budget place should have things that work properly - Tv didnt, always had to be retuned - and I cant say I've ever had a breakfast on the continent that was toast and yohgurt !

    Exceptional

Hatters Liverpool was chosen not only for its price but also for a location - 20 min to the BT Arena Convention Centre, and close also to the city centre. I had a single room but the bed was large and comfortable. The towels were changed every day, although I did neither ask for it nor threw them on the floor. And - best of all - the wonderful silence at night! Although there were some kids in the hostel, running till late, but they seemingly lived upstairs and I heard them only at the entrance, not in my room. There, I heard only seegulls which was nice.

It was my very first visit to the U.K. Therefore, I expected a ham and eggs rather than jam and fruit yoghurt for the breakfast everyday. After 4 days, it became boring even when we had a choice of different jams and yoghurts each morning.
